AM Bid Services wins ‘SME of the Year 2017’ at the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards
Last night, Lothians based bidding specialists, AM Bid Services, won ‘SME of the Year’ at the prestigious Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017, held at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh.
The company won the highly-sought after award after impressing the judges with its impressive growth record after only three years of trading. Growth has been demonstrated each year since the company launch in 2014, with turnover increasing in year three by 73%.
The evening brought together the best businesses from the Lothian region, celebrating the positive impact they have on the local economy and community. The award won by AM Bid Services recognises their consistent growth, backed by strong financial performance. The company operates across the UK assisting local, regional and national organisations to create award winning bids and proposals.
In 2016-2017 the company added new staff and expanded to working in over 20 sectors. The leadership team’s commitment to quality has resulted in an extremely high bid win rate, with over 20 satisfied client referrals to other businesses. They are also adding new services such as Bid Gap Analysis and Bid Training to strengthen their proposition further.
The company was also shortlisted for the Business High Growth 2017 award at the ceremony.
